The Chataholic Network has moved it’s Server to be hosted by iShells. This move allows us to provide our users with better performance, and stability to keep things running smoothly. We thank iShells for donating us our shell, and hope that they continue to provide us such excellent services.
You can use our java chat applet by visiting http://irc.chataholic.net and stats for #chataholic has been currently moved to http://irc.chataholic.net/stats/ . We hope to have the older links updated soon. Thank you for your patience in this transition.
That’s right children, the Chataholic Network is still very much alive. I know that I ( Robert ) have been inactive for a bit due to some offline issues but I have indeed returned back to the chatting community. Oh please don’t get scared I don’t bite often. >.> Anyways I just wanted to apologize for my absence as of late and wanted to tell our supporters that they are very much appreciated and hope that they continue to support the project.

We would like to announce that the network upgrade has been completed successfully.
All our services are running better than ever. The Java applet for chatting has now been reactivated.
Thank you for your patience whilst this upgrade was in progress, and sorry for any problems that may have arisen during this upgrade period.
We would like to inform our users that we have upgraded some features on our network, including new work on the Chataholic website.
So that these upgrades can take place you may experience difficulty using our Java web applet to chat.
This is only temporary and to rectify the problem, we advise you visit Psychnation - our sister site, where you will find our temporary applet.

If you are a regular user of our network, you will probably have noted that there are more users than there ever have been before. This is because our network has been expanding, meaning we are establishing links to other networks and servers.
If you own a network and are considering linking with the Chataholic network, email admin@chataholic.org stating why you think we should link with you and any other relevant information, including your network DNS.

As I have chatted with you in the Atlantica IRC network I have noticed that you have regularly acted like an asshole. This is something which has made my chatting experience an unpleasant one, and I want you to justify for that. It would please me if you gave me an official apology for the foul language and all of the other unpleasantness you have done the previous couple of minutes.
